Pamela Northam, Honorary Board Chair

Pamela Northam served as the first lady of Virginia from 2018-2021. A former pediatric occupational therapist, science educator, environmentalist and advocate, Pamela Northam has used her professional experience to lead the administration’s work on improving early childhood education in Virginia. Pamela resides in Norfolk.

KImberly Macleod

Kimberly C. MacLeod is a finance partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP with broad experience in negotiating and documenting credit facilities, including acquisition financings, recapitalizations and debtor-in-possession financings. Prior to joining the firm, Kim served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. A. Christian Compton of the Supreme Court of Virginia. In 2022, Kim received the YWCA Richmond Outstanding Woman Award in Law & Government and the MLK RVA Drum Major Service Award. Kim was also named among Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 2018 Women Worth Watching, Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2017 “Leaders in the Law,” Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2010 "Influential Women of Virginia" and Virginia Business’ 2010 Legal Elite (Business Law) and was selected as a “Rising Star” in banking by Virginia Super Lawyers in both 2007 and 2008. She was also a member of Leadership Metro Richmond’s Class of 2013.

Emily Eckert

Emily is a women’s health policy expert working to expand access to equitable, patient-centered contraceptive care as the Associate Director of Federal Policy for Upstream USA. She serves on Alexandria’s Commission for Women and she is a founding member of the Alexandria Democratic Committee’s Women’s Caucus. Emily resides in Alexandria.

Samantha Andres

Samantha Andres has over 15 years of experience in nursing and health care, first as a registered nurse at the University of Virginia and now as the Manager of Population Health for a company focused on driving improved outcomes for patients and providers. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Samantha now lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband and two daughters, where she is a passionate advocate for health justice and reproductive rights.

Harrison Roday

Harrison Roday founded Bridging Virginia, a non-profit loan fund serving small businesses, and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors. He is passionate about leveling the playing field for access to capital. He also serves as Board Chair for Virginia Foodshed Capital, a mission-aligned CDFI focused on agricultural microlending. Harrison was a Partner at American Industrial Partners, a group focused on investing in American companies in the industrial economy. Harrison resides in Richmond.

Tara Gibson, Founder and Executive Director

Tara has worked in Virginia politics for almost 20 years, six of those years with Planned Parenthood. She has had a front row seat to the attacks on women’s reproductive rights and specifically abortion. After the fall of Roe, she started Roe Your Vote Virginia because she knew the stakes were too high in Virginia this year.
